FAQ

General Product Questions

A: PET preforms are injection-molded bottle blanks for later blow molding. Their standardized neck finishes and smooth surfaces run reliably on filling lines. Versus finished bottles, preforms cut storage and freight costs and let you flex bottle design, capacity, and color—which is why leading beverage, edible-oil, and personal-care brands use them.

A: Yes. Every PET preform is tested across automatic and semi-automatic blow molding systems to ensure smooth feeding, stable heating, and consistent bottle quality. This means high efficiency, less downtime, and lower scrap rates, even in high-speed production.

A: Before production, we provide sample runs with full neck finish checks, cap fitting tests, and capacity validation. If adjustments are needed, mold parameters are fine-tuned and new samples are sent quickly so you can confirm compatibility with confidence before ordering.

A: Absolutely. We can customize neck finishes, weights, colors, and capacities, and also offer heat-resistant PET, UV-protected materials, or rPET up to 100%. With flexible mold development and proven production experience, you get tailored solutions without compromising quality or lead time.

Production & Manufacturing

A: Manufacturer—factory-direct. We run end-to-end in-house control (resin prep → injection → QA → packing) with multi-site capacity, so your specs and lead times stay predictable. We also support NDA and on-site audits for traceability and faster engineering support.

A: Process-first QC from resin to packing—we verify neck finish and gram weight on the line, use automated visual checks to block defects, and retain samples for every lot. You receive COA + full batch traceability and food-contact compliant (BPA/DEHP-free) materials; third-party tests are available on request.

A: Share key specs—neck finish (e.g., PCO 1881/29-25/30-25), gram weight, product type (CSD/water/hot-fill), target volume, cap spec, color—and we’ll reply within 24–48 h with the closest existing mold. If unmatched, we provide DFM + sample plan and lead time for custom tooling; NDA, reverse-engineering of your sample, and pilot runs are supported.

Order & Customization

A: For standard preforms, the minimum order quantity is generally 10,000 pieces. For smaller preforms (with lower gram weight and smaller diameter), the MOQ is typically 50,000 pieces.

For new molds or color customizations, the starting quantity may be higher to ensure consistent quality and stable production. Test runs are covered by us at no extra cost, so you won’t have to worry about additional fees.

A: Yes. Share your timeline and we’ll give feasibility feedback within 24 hours, then secure production by using parallel lines, partial shipments, or air freight so urgent needs are met without risking quality.

A: Tiered pricing applies as volumes rise, with further savings from full-container optimization or combined SKUs. Long-term partners also enjoy priority scheduling and flexible payment terms, ensuring both cost efficiency and stable supply.

Payment

A: We accept Credit Cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, JCB, Diners Club), Bank Wire/T-T, L/C (UCP 600), PayPal, Western Union, Alibaba Trade Assurance, and regional rails—Pix (Brazil), SPEI & OXXO (Mexico), PSE (Colombia), Ozow (South Africa). Flexible terms for large orders are available subject to KYC and contract terms.

A: Typically T/T 50% deposit and 50% before shipment. Once your deposit arrives, we secure materials and schedule production. Before you release the balance, we promptly share loading photos, retained-sample lot ID, COA, and CI/PL, so you approve with confidence. For larger programs, UCP 600 L/C or milestone terms can be arranged.

Shipping & Delivery

A: Standard samples can be shipped within 3–5 days. Custom samples depend on complexity. Once production begins, lead time is usually 15–20 days for bulk orders.

A: Orders are shipped from Qingdao or other major ports, China. We offer sea freight, air freight, and express courier options. Preforms are packed in PE bags and export cartons with palletized wrapping for stability.

A: Once shipped, we provide tracking details and assist with customs clearance if needed. Our sales managers also update you at each stage of production and shipping.

After-Sales & Support

A: Upon your incoming inspection, if any preforms show material or manufacturing defects, we will promptly replace the affected goods or issue compensation/credit and coordinate logistics as needed. Each shipment includes batch traceability and a COA to accelerate resolution.

A: Before signing, inspect and count pallets, note discrepancies on the POD, and take clear photos (carton/pallet, container seal, B/L). Notify us within 24 hours; for FCL we verify seal/tally, for LCL we use carrier survey reports. We arrange replacement/credit and supply damage statements + CI/PL/B/L/photographic evidence to support the claim.

A: Returns require an RMA number and goods must be unopened, in original packaging; custom colors, special packing, and made-to-order molds are non-returnable unless quality-related. If the fault is ours, we cover return freight or authorize on-site scrap with certificate; otherwise returns are freight-prepaid and processed after inspection with documented disposition (including environmental compliance certificates where applicable).

A: Store indoors in a dry area at 15–30 °C and <60% RH, and keep them away from sunlight and heat. Keep bags sealed, follow stacking limits, and protect neck finishes so alignment stays consistent. After opening, use promptly or reseal; if they’ve been exposed to humidity, pre-condition (re-dry) before blowing. For best performance, use within 6–12 months on a FIFO basis.
